I was caught by surprise by the designer behind The Black Canary. Mr. Morrigan Denimore sent me an IM asking if I would cover the review for his new dress he has out for the Extend a Helping Hand event. I could not say no. And when I put Ocello on I fell in love instantly. The texture has the look of velvet….I just want to run my hands over the softness. And the hoodie? Reminded me of little red riding hood gone bad. Run down to where the EaHH event is being held. I am sure you will pick this up straight away!

I had the perfect outfit picked out (which I picked out again) and a skin and some poses chosen for this post. I edited the photos…left it alone for a bit because RL kicked in with the new semester of school hitting me. So when I logged in SL today and went to go see what all I had on from the photos….I couldn’t remember the skin name because I no longer had it on. This time around I chose a skin from Swedish Style that I was given to demo by Charlotte Calael. Its beautiful. I love the lip color, how it has a sort of shine on my bottom lip. I also love the eyeshadow that was used. Smoky but not too dramatic.

I am not sure if you have heard yet, but there is an event called Extend a Helping Hand going on in SL. The event runs from Jan. 11th – Jan. 31st. It was brought upon us to bring awareness of the floods and devastation going on in Australia right now. Sanura Sakai has brought several designers (2 of which I am wearing in these photos) to help raise funds. Extend a Helping Hand is an event put together by Sanura Sakai to raise funds for the Premier’s Disaster Relief Appeal. The aim is to provide support and assistance to those Queenslanders affected by the recent massive flooding.
The flooding has already affected 22 towns, as of January 1st, and has forced many from their homes. It has had a devastating effect on many people’s lives and livelihoods. An area larger than Germany and France combined has been affected by the flood-waters, and the impact will still be felt for some time to come.
